Viva Dominica

Despite the swine flu pretty much rocking the whole world, my one week all-inclusive Dominican Republic vacation with my nurse friends was a green light, from May 5 to May 12. Not gonna lie, I was scared, but you know, you can’t stop living life. You only got one. Insert gazillion cliches here.

The resort was impressive; well-maintained and service was excellent. Beach was BEAUTIFUL: clear waters and white sands. I exfoliated (near the deeper waters of the beach) the life out of my skin and the results were astounding! Exfoliation at its most natural form. While doing so there were also little flying fishies that attacked us in schools and it was fun! And don’t forget the low-flying prehistoric looking bird that kept landing on the water. Such an exotic experience lol.

My only problem with the whole experience was the a-la carte food. I was sick for three days straight rejecting any food I ate. So I lost weight
and I got a mean tan and I learned the hard way that I should put TONS of sunblock lotion on the T-zone. So much damage on the face there. Haha. So remember ladies: the T-ZONE!

We made MANY new friends (I was surprised, I’ve never seen so many hot white guys in one area), mostly from Canada too. We did activities like riding ATV in an outside village, going to a cave with crystal-clear lake inside, parasailing, kayaking and banana boating. Night activities included clubbing (we went clubbing for 7 straight nights! Exhaustion!) making fool of ourselves for the camera and walking under the rain holding hands with our American boys.
Of course, what’s a tropical paradise without a hot fling?

That’s it for now. Stay glamorous.

congrats on the great holiday! buti naman natuloy!~~ ^_^
