New York City springflingin’
With much drama and last minute shiznit…my girls and I finally pulled off our New York City trip. Gotta admit though, I was thinking of backing out due to financial restraints (lol), err, due to a pending Dominican Republic trip that cost me a grand plus plus. I was undergoing a spending phase so my lust for NY wasn’t enough. But I went anyway. Might as well see the Big Apple.
This was the main reason why:

C’mon Fil-Canadian bigwigs; get your wheels rolling and establish a Jollibee in Toronto already! Don’t make me mad!
We took the ferry to Staten Island but not really planning on getting off onto the island; we just wanted to see the Statue of Liberty

Rockefeller..? I don’t know much about this place. Look picture!

Of course when I think New York I think the massive retail giants. For a shopaholic like me, this was heaven. Too bad I didn’t get to go shopping. Clearly, 2 days weren’t enough. So it was pure sight-seeing.

The ever-animated and lively Timesquare. All your hustlin and a-bustlin’ frightened me deep inside.

Aaaaaand the surprise and highlight of the whole trip: The accidental spotting of one of Gossip Girl sets…
Chuck Bass’ empire The Palace Hotel on 455 Madison! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!

This was the night before our departure. One o’clock in the morning the three of us GG fangirls found ourselves…well, by ourselves roaming the streets feeling like paparazzi. The adrenaline was awesome. The GG boys were all in that spot and OhH my Ed Westwick! They were there in spirit LoL. *thud*

I definitely have to go back. For now, stay glamorous New York City.
